Private transport in Rio
Here you can enquire about arranging a private transfer with a driver. If you are still comparing ways to travel from GIG or SDU, start with the guide to airports and arrival transport options.
If you want a more comfortable, safe and personalized journey, you can also book private transport with a driver through me. It is especially practical for families, groups of friends, travelers with luggage or anyone who prefers to arrange their transfer before setting out.

Why choose private transport?
- ✓ Greater comfort during the journey.

- ✓ Vehicles for different passenger and luggage requirements, subject to availability.
- ✓ Experienced drivers.
- ✓ Transfers between Rio and other tourist destinations.
- ✓ Schedules can be arranged around your trip.
Trips where a private transfer may help
A private transfer can be convenient between the airport and your accommodation, for an early departure, several suitcases or a family outing. Whether it makes sense depends on your address, schedule, group and budget. For daytime trips around Downtown and the South Zone, the Metro, VLT or a rideshare may work better.
If your destination is outside the city, share the full route and planned stops when enquiring. A road transfer can take you to the Angra dos Reis area, for example, but reaching Ilha Grande requires a separate boat crossing.
What to confirm before booking
Send the date, time, pickup and destination, passenger count, approximate number and size of bags, any child seats needed and a reachable contact number. Include your flight number and terminal when relevant, but do not share unnecessary sensitive information.
Ask for written confirmation of availability, price, inclusions, delay policy, waiting time, payment method and exact meeting point. Do not consider the service booked until you receive explicit confirmation. Let the provider know promptly if your flight or group changes.
Airport arrival
After landing, follow the agreed meeting instructions. Do not accept a transfer offer from someone who approaches you unless you have verified their identity and booking contact. If your flight is delayed, luggage is late or the terminal changes, use the agreed contact channel.
For departures, allow extra time for traffic, check-in and distance to the airport. Road travel time varies with rain, rush hour and events. I do not recommend setting a pickup time without knowing your flight and address.
