Hi! I'm Ernestinho Carioc-IA. I can help you find the Rio guide you need. Where should we start?

Leblon: sea, mountains and another pace of Rio
Beyond Ipanema, the walk continues. I like looking toward Dois Irmãos and noticing how the beach meets the neighborhood streets.

01
Between the sea and Dois Irmãos
Leblon continues Ipanema's shoreline, but the mountains seem closer at this end of the beach. The view of Dois Irmãos is part of its identity and changes with the light and weather.
You don't need to come only to sunbathe. Walk the waterfront, take in the mountains and choose your stretch without rushing.
02
The promenade is a destination in itself
Leblon's waterfront brings together walkers, cyclists and people exercising. It's a place to observe Rio's daily life beyond the sand.
Walk toward Ipanema or head to the Leblon end. Respect the cycle lane and crossings: not everyone travels on foot.

03
Beach life without rushing
On the sand you'll find familiar Rio rituals: spreading a beach wrap, enjoying a cold drink, chatting and taking time to watch the sea. That's part of the story too.
Ask about chair and umbrella prices before renting and keep belongings in sight. Vendors and kiosk services vary by day and beach section.

04
From the beach into the neighborhood
Leblon also has cafés, restaurants and residential streets. After the beach, explore a few blocks inland without turning the visit into a race between attractions.
At the western end, the Mirante do Leblon area offers another perspective on the coast. Check access and conditions before visiting.
05
Getting here and what to check
You can arrive through neighborhood streets and Antero de Quental metro station; the final walk depends on your preferred beach section. You can also walk over from Ipanema.
Check lifeguard flags, surf and water-quality bulletins before swimming. If conditions are poor, stick to the promenade and views.
