A short but steep ascent between Recreio and Praia da Macumba, with panoramic views of the West Zone coastline.
It is a short climb, not a flat stroll: the slope and uneven rock make it unsuitable for pushchairs, limited mobility or open footwear. Go in daylight, bring water and descend by the same access without rushing for a photo. If it has rained, wait for the rocks to dry; stay close to children and well back from edges.
