A venue where the date defines the night
Pink Flamingo describes itself as a Rio pop bar-club, and its official programme shows there is no single repeated night. One week can include an eighties party, Latin night, a Treta edition, guest artists or a pop celebration. To me this is its main attraction and the first thing to check before buying: the lineup indicates the music and format.
Programming links to Sympla tickets through the venue’s Linktree. It lists each event, date, party name and purchase information. Prices, times and terms change; I do not use old prices or a universal time. For a specific show or artist, confirm whether admission includes the performance or only the party.
What to expect inside
The venue combines a dance floor, DJs and drag performances. A May 2026 review praises music, air conditioning and shows; another recent review reports organisation problems. Tripadvisor includes enthusiastic comments and others less satisfied with music or performances. These are subjective, date-specific opinions, but show how the experience varies with the party and expectations.
I would choose it for an LGBTQIA+ night of pop and entertainment rather than conversation in a quiet bar. Check the theme, duration, performance order and rules before leaving. With a guest artist, arriving early may be part of the plan.
How to arrange entry and return
The official channel lists Rua Raul Pompéia, 102, in Copacabana. Tripadvisor shows evening hours, but these may be outdated or omit event-specific changes. My reference is the purchased ticket and current club post rather than an aggregator’s weekly hours.
Save the QR code and receipt before arriving; check guest lists, ticket releases, identification and age rules. Late at night I agree transport with the group and wait in a lit place with the route and destination loaded. If staying in Copacabana it is within your neighbourhood; still, plan the return before the dance floor closes.
My Ernestinho tip
Buy only after reading that date’s listing. Pink has a clear identity, but each edition changes the music, artists, hours and terms. The Linktree event is the controlling source.
