Lapa 40 Graus programmes samba, forró, DJs, shows and themed nights. I check the lineup before choosing: the artist and genre affect the crowd, energy and best arrival time. The venue combines a stage, bar and dance floor across several levels.
What to check
The programme and schedule depend on the date. Before buying, I check the current listing: who is playing, doors, expected finish, guest list, ticket tier, age rating and whether reserved areas are available. The venue overview does not replace the event terms.
The return journey is part of the plan too
On busy dates there may be queues and loud music near the dance floor. Departure may coincide with other Lapa venues closing. I save the route, leave with the group and request a car from a lit spot rather than walk distractedly looking for transport.
My Ernestinho tip
I would choose a date with music I genuinely like and check the final show time before leaving. I arrange the return before entering, not when the venue closes.
