Why I include it
It began in Arpoador in 1982 and established itself in Lapa as one of the city’s most important cultural stages. Generations of rock and Brazilian musicians have played there, and today the programme still mixes MPB, rock, rap, reggae, samba, festivals and international artists.
How to experience it
I always start with the official programme. Check upcoming concerts and open the listing for the date you want: door time, price, age rating and tickets can vary from one show to another. I plan the rest of the evening around that information, not an old listing.

If an artist you like is playing during your trip, I would try to experience a show here. It is right beside the Arcos; arrive with time to validate admission and avoid ticket channels not indicated by the official production.
