Two Brothers Hill

Climbing Dois Irmãos means seeing Rio from a completely different perspective: Vidigal below, Rocinha on the other side and Zona Sul stretching to the horizon.

The adventure begins in Vidigal

From the meeting point, we head up through the community and begin a trail of around 1.5 km. Much of the route passes through vegetation and offers viewpoints before the summit, so you do not have to wait until the end to start enjoying it.

One of the first striking moments is looking down over Rocinha and Pedra da Gávea. As we gain height, Gávea, Corcovado, Pedra Bonita and the outline of Zona Sul come into view.

The summit: one of Rio's most surprising panoramas

Morro Dois Irmãos reaches around 533 meters. From the top, you can see Leblon, Ipanema, Lagoa, the ocean, the Cagarras Islands and much of the city. It combines effort, nature, community and photography in just a few hours.
