Why travel with insurance
An emergency, a cancellation or a lost bag can change your trip. Insurance cannot prevent the problem, but it can provide assistance and protect your budget.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Being protected is part of the journey too
This is one recommendation I take particular care with: when a problem occurs, having assistance completely changes the experience.
1Purchase before traveling and save the policy, assistance number and proof of purchase for offline access.
2Do not choose by price alone: compare medical costs, medication, hospitalization, repatriation, luggage, delays and cancellations.
3Disclose and check pre-existing conditions, pregnancy, age, sports and adventure activities; specific limits or exclusions may apply.
4In a serious emergency, protect the person first and call 192. When possible, then contact the insurance assistance service and follow the indicated procedure.
5Keep prescriptions, diagnoses, reports, invoices and receipts. They are important when requesting reimbursement.
6Read the full policy before paying. Coverage, exclusions and how assistance is provided depend on the plan purchased.
How to use your insurance if you need help
Keep your policy, ID and trip details handy. Contact your insurer's official channels and follow their instructions. Keep reports, prescriptions, invoices and receipts for any reimbursement.
⭐ Ernestinho’s tip: also save the policy for offline access and check limits, deductibles, exclusions and covered activities.
